POLISHED STONE COMMUNICATIONS
Making Your Message Shine
At Polished Stone Communications, we care about words.
Sometimes writing can be a bit rough around the edges.
Whether your list of points needs to be crafted into a cohesive article
or your already-written article could just use some final touch ups,
I will take your “diamond in the rough” and smooth and polish it until it shines!
I strive to use words and phrases that are clear, correct and concise,
and to share your information with your intended audience
in a manner that piques their interest and captures their attention.
Kristine Buchholtz (CPE, BA), owner and operator of Polished Stone Communications, has had a lifelong love affair with the English language. Whether writing, editing or reading, she is most content when she is in the soothing company of words … both familiar and mysterious.
Her study of other languages has caused her to appreciate and understand English grammar with a passion (yes, a bit of an oxymoron, perhaps – “grammar” and “passion” in the same sentence – but it’s true nonetheless!), and she looks forward to helping you to clarify and communicate your message to your intended audience in a way that draws them in and sustains their interest.
Kristine is a Certified Professional Editor, having passed the Editor's Association of Canada's certification exams in copy editing, structural editing, stylistic editing and proofreading.
As a Certified Professional Editor, I can help ensure that your communications are free of grammatical errors, but I can also assist you in having your words flow smoothly and your ideas transition easily and in a logical order, while at the same time keeping your personal voice intact.
Do you have an idea of what you want to convey, but you aren’t sure how to do so most effectively? Allow me to help by taking your points and putting them into words that accurately share the necessary information with your readers.
Let me assist you with the design and layout of your organization’s newsletter, brochure, or poster.
